If anyone is curious, two people won rank 1 (100,000 AP / 2 = 50,000 AP), two people won rank 2 (50,000 AP / 2 = 25,00 AP), and 18 people won rank 3 prizes (1000 AP)!

Anyone who got 375 exactly is a rank one winner.
Anyone who got *75 is a rank two winner.
Anyone who got *5 is a rank one winner.

I'm confused on how the prizes work. Is rank 2 for everyone who got two numbers exactly right? Or just for people who got the LAST two numbers exactly right? Similar question for rank 1.

I'm guessing it's the latter. There was a 1/1000 chance of someone picking precisely the right number (assuming random distribution, of course). There was a 9/1000 chance of someone picking precisely x75, where x is not 3. There was an 81/1000 chance of someone picking precisely xy5, where y is not 7. With such a low probability for rank 1, 2 is a reasonable number of winners. 2 is also reasonable for rank 2 (I think around 250 people entered, giving an expected winner count of 2.5 or so). Around 10 times as many people should have won rank 3 as rank 2, and 18 isn't that far off of 20.

If you just needed to get ANY number(s) in the right spots for ranks 2 and 3, there would have been a 27/1000 chance of winning rank 2 and a 243/1000 chance of winning rank 3. We would have seen way more rank 3 winners (8 people with exactly one correctly-placed number have already posted here, since mine was 327).
